We had our Holiday dinner at the Applewood Inn this year and they did an amazing job. It is a very nice and cozy place for a small event. We would definitely recommend it.
A beautiful and comfortable Inn, where to stay while driving around Maine. Jay is a SUPER host and he made us feel like at home. The rooms were clean and lovely. For breakfast we had the luck to taste their beautiful vegetables (cooked by Jay's father) grown in the backyard...i'm still dreaming about those potatoes, eggs and tomatoes! We brought back to Italy a real nice experience, that's why if will do another roadtrip across Maine, for sure I will stop for a night or two at Applewood INN.
Jay and Jenn are some of the kindest and most generous people you will meet. They run a beautiful inn with exceptional service. The breakfast is phenomenal; yummy omelets with garden fresh veggies and delicious homemade jam.
Fantastic place! Always super clean and comfortable rooms!! The owners on site are always friendly and beyond helpful. Breakfast is always good, but not great. (Ex. Bacon is precooked). I would highly recommend the Applewood Inn for anyone visiting the Freeport area!!

The gentleman I spoke with was very helpful. I did not end up staying, but I hope to stay during another visit in Freeport. Sounds like an amazing downtown location!
I had the best experience staying there. When I needed items or had questions they would deliver and answer any questions. I would recommend staying here. It's within walking distance to restaurants, shopping places, groceries stores and even a movie theater.
Feels like home in the best sense: clean, comfortable, welcoming, and warm. A place to decompress and catch up. Will be back hopefully for a longer stay. Thank you, Jay (owner).
From the moment we walked in, we were treated like family great hospitality. Very, very clean thanks to Jay and Adil bey. The rooms were beautiful and clean clean CLEAN!!!There is a jacuzzi room suite that is awesome!!! The breakfast was amazing and delicious. Hope to return. Very nice B&B experience.
